Vestolit_Capacity expansion of Specialty PVC at Mexichem’s VESTOLIT Subsidiary in German Plant is running_by chemwinfo

VESTOLIT GmbH, a 100% subsidiary of Mexichem,

announced today that the capacity expansion

published in May 2015

at the Mexichem Marl, Germany plant started up.

Initial product runs have been completed

and the test analysis has confirmed all quality standards

and product specifications have been met.

This additional expansion investment

establishes the largest production site

for Specialty PVC worldwide.

With this expansion, Mexichem has a new production line

at the Marl, Germany site

with an additional drying capacity of 40 kt Paste-PVC.

VESTOLIT GmbH is Europe’s only manufacturer

of High Impact Suspension PVC (HIS-PVC)

for weather-resistant windows and

is one of Europe`s leading producer of paste PVC

for floors and wallpapers, among others.

VESTOLIT also produces Chlor-alkali and its derivates
