Sadara Chemical Company (Sadara)
today achieved another significant milestone,
having safely completed
the Creditors Reliability Test (CRT),
a rigorous effort designed to demonstrate
the reliability of the company’s 26-plant chemical complex
by operating at high rates for an extended period of time.
The CRT, monitored by the technical consultant Nexant,
is designed to demonstrate to the company’s lenders
that Sadara can produce and ship its products
at 90 percent of design rates or better
for a period of 60 consecutive days.
The CRT began on October 19 and ended
at midnight on December 17, 2018,
and the data from the test will be verified
by the technical consultant in January 2019.

is an outstanding achievement
